Who Am I?

Hey my names Matt Wojciechowski (very polish I know), I grew up in Hartland Michigan, and I’m currently in my final semesters at Ferris State University for the Digital Animation and Game Design program.

I’ve always had an incredible passion for video games. I’m enthralled with the boundless experiences they can give to the players, the capability they have to modify someone’s perspective of reality and engross them in an all new world.

Besides game design, I also have an immense interest in psychology and sociology, While on their own they are both a fascinating insight into the human mind, the knowledge gained from both has proved invaluable for building a better user experience.

But in regards to “hobbies”, I enjoy video editing, drawing, baking, and delving into whatever else my brain wants to learn that week.

Fun Fact: I am a human lava lamp

(I made this video for a Public Speaking class, but it gives a much better idea of who I am compared to anything I could put into words.)

Why Me?

When I’m given a task, I envision it’s potential beyond what I’m currently able to produce, I take every measure possible to bring myself up to the level of quality required to realize that vision.

For an example just look around this website. I’ve never been involved in any kind of web design and managed to pull all this off in about a week, not too bad right? Take a closer look at some of my projects, the Banshee project, the Pikachu project, in each one of them you’ll notice two recurring themes: consistent improvement and the willingness to take on (and succeed at) extraordinary new challenges.

Now why am I saying all of this? Because you need someone who is not only capable of achieving the task you set before them, but also someone who can reliably adapt and innovate in this ever evolving field.

Give me a chance, give me a test, I guarantee I will surpass your wildest expectations.
