Current Update
Role: Sole Developer
Agent Gorilla is a 'Hitman'-style physics-based “spy undercover” VR project. It is currently being developed in Unreal Engine 5.5.
This project initially just started in May 2024 as a way to teach myself physics, blackboard, and VR development in Unreal Engine over the summer, but it slowly started to become much more than that.
I plan to have a fully realized, proof of concept demo ready come December 2025 as this project additionally serves as my college capstone, but I’m hoping to take it much further.
On the right (or below if on mobile) you’ll find the first milestone of this project completed in August of 2024. Though this is a bit dated now, it contains showcase of the bulk foundations currently found within. Soon there will be an updated version to replace it. You’ll also notice the ‘Current Update’ video, this highlights the most recent features added to the project. While the project is being worked on every week, the rate these updates are put out are scattered at the moment. While the proper excuse is to say “I have other classes blah blah blah”, in reality the major reason for this is because the majority of progress is done for systems which aren’t ‘easily visually showcased’ (like blueprint communication for example). So I mostly release videos once an ample amount of visual work has been created. However, in a few months when most of these systems are configured, the rest of the work will consist of visual additions, meaning more updates! So stay tuned!
